About the role

  • The Senior Clinical Program Coordinator evaluates the financial performance of programs to meet departmental goals and assist in the development of short- and long-range budgetary planning.
  • Supervises, directs, and coordinates assignments for the given program.
  • Evaluates program effectiveness, analyzes results, and recommends appropriate action.

Responsibilities

  • Assist manager to create/run reports for review of sub-specialty service performance.
  • Moreover, this employee provides a broader oversight to daily program activities in support of the University's mission.
  • Provides support to the clinical operation for their assigned sub-specialty sections by liaising between pathologists, clinical areas (internal/external), customer care, histology, and ancillary laboratories.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Maintains required records and reports statistics for administrative, quality assurance, and safety and control purposes.

  • Assist Clinical Program Manager as assigned.

  • Assist with establishing procedures to ensure reproducibility of each sub-specialty service.
  • Meet with outside vendors as requested/needed when manager is not available.
  • Assist in training employees on the importance/performance of tasks.
  • Assist with expediting or facilitating clinical sample requests by coordinating with histology lab, sub-specialty, or customer care teams.
  • Contacting clinical staff/faculty on behalf of sub-specialty in response to inquiries.
