About the role
- Entry Level Systems Engineer Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Systems Engineer within the ET&S Systems Engineering Capability.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, excellent communication skills, and a basic understanding of engineering principles.
- This entry-level position requires strong communication and collaboration skills along with a foundational understanding of systems engineering principles.
Responsibilities
- You will work closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to support the development and integration of system solutions for development and modification programs.
- Support the verification and validation of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and assist in the preparation of related materials.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support integration and testing activities.
- Help maintain and update engineering tools and databases such as IBM DOORS and MSOSA.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the implementation of best practices.
- Support risk, issue, and opportunity management activities under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Engage in mentoring and training opportunities to develop professional skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

- $68,850 - 93,150
