About the role
- Carries out communications projects intended for multiple audiences: prospects, donors, patient families, event attendees and Children's Hospital staff.
Responsibilities
- Provides support for the Engagement and Stewardship team through the coordination of fund raising projects, events and recognition.
- Through the generous support of our friends and partners in the community, our exceptional doctors, nurses and care providers achieve the impossible every day.
- Our foundation is staffed with experts who guide donors through the many ways to support the care we give to kids.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 2+ years of related experience preferred.
- Experience working in a nonprofit organization, in a communications role and/or as a project manager preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet daily demands, as well as, respond to urgent situations.
- Advanced skills in word processing, spreadsheets and email marketing programs required and general database experience desired.
- Excellent interpersonal, prioritization and organization skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, board members, patient families, volunteers, etc.
- Process-oriented, ability to work efficiently and with accuracy.
