Responsibilities
- Manage capital improvement projects at existing operations.
- Prepare scope of work documents for projects assigned.
- Execute feasibility studies and conceptual design (pre-engineering studies).
- Develop cost estimate or direct the work of an engineering firm to develop the estimate.
- Develop Capex Requests for new improvement projects.
- Support Engineering and manage the capital projects.
- Prepare CERs for capex projects, primarily focused on investments to support process improvement.
- Support the plants' budgeting process for capital by helping to identify needed projects that will lead to overall improved process efficiency.

Requirements
- Five (5) to Seven (7) or more years of prior project management and/or engineering experience in heavy manufacturing and/or mining processes with the focus around safety, productivity, and costs compliance or savings.
Nice to have
- The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing and sitting.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other technical related field or equivalent work experience.
- Professional Engineering Registration (P.E.), CAPM or PMP certification.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Lime, cement, or minerals industry process experience strongly preferred.
