About the role
- Job Description Summary Full time PHMNP/PA working in Access Bridge Care Clinic to assist in the assessment and management of psychiatric patients who are referred to the clinic team, under the supervision of a psychiatrist.
- Or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and currently licensed or eligible as an PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health NP).
- PA Or APRN PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health NP): (All ages) population foci may be adult only or across the lifespan (must check educational background) care of the psychiatric patient.
Responsibilities
- There are career opportunities available in academics, research, hospital medicine, physician practices and support services, from patient billing to IT.
- Requires certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Requirements
- DHEC and DEA license applications must be submitted prior to first day.

- Will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and work with a team as part of the Mental Health ICCE.

- Experience as mental health PA/NP preferred.
- Degree of Supervision PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health NP or Physician Assistant will be assigned a Primary Supervising/Collaborating Physician employed by MUSC and will report directly to this physician.
