About the role

  • Job Description Summary Full time PHMNP/PA working in Access Bridge Care Clinic to assist in the assessment and management of psychiatric patients who are referred to the clinic team, under the supervision of a psychiatrist.
  • Or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and currently licensed or eligible as an PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health NP).
  • PA Or APRN PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health NP): (All ages) population foci may be adult only or across the lifespan (must check educational background) care of the psychiatric patient.

Responsibilities

  • There are career opportunities available in academics, research, hospital medicine, physician practices and support services, from patient billing to IT.
  • Requires certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Requirements

  • DHEC and DEA license applications must be submitted prior to first day.

  • Entity MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) Worker Type Employee Worker Sub-Type Regular Cost Center CC006025 MCP - Access Bridge Care (ABC) Pay Rate Type Salary Pay

  • Experience as mental health PA/NP preferred.
  • Degree of Supervision PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health NP or Physician Assistant will be assigned a Primary Supervising/Collaborating Physician employed by MUSC and will report directly to this physician.
