About the role
- Operation of CMM(s) to determine acceptance or rejection of product via first piece and in-process inspections.
- Experience operating a FARO arm favorable.
- Participate in dimensional problem-solving activities
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprint and/or CAD design and develop CMM computer program techniques for the dimensional inspection process
Requirements
- 2 years' experience operating/programming CMM - Zeiss Calypso Software and FARO arm (Polyworks)
- Extensive knowledge and experience with hand gages (including calipers, inside micrometer, o.d. mic., depth mic., height gage, chamfer gage, groove mic., thread gages, dial bore indicator, etc.)
- Familiarity with ISO standards
Nice to have
- Ability to program Caylpso and/or FARO
- PPAP/Gage R & R/SPC knowledge
- Familiar with GAGETRAK calibration software
- Familiar with requirements of ISO 9001/AS9100
- Experience mentoring other CMM personnel
- Experience in preparing data packages for PPAP
- 3D scanning knowledge and experience
