About the role
- The Health Technician plays a key role in supporting the daily health needs of students at AMS Power, administering medications in accordance with school policies, maintaining accurate health records, and partnering with staff, families, and healthcare providers to promote a safe and healthy learning environment.
- This position also supports compliance initiatives, student screenings, reporting requirements, and campus health office operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned to support school operations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Arizona IVP Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic recordkeeping systems
Compensation
- Compensation: $15.00–$17.00/hour, DOE

- Health Technician (Joint Campus Role-Mesa & Power)
- Maintain accurate and confidential student health records, including immunizations, screenings, medication logs, and office visit documentation.
- Conduct vision and hearing screenings and complete required state reporting.
- Create, maintain, and audit Arizona student health records to ensure compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized health office.
- Monitor inventory of medical supplies and coordinate timely ordering and restocking.
- Assist with health office audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison between the school, families, healthcare providers, and community agencies.
- Attend required campus meetings, professional development, and health trainings.
