About the role

  • The Business Analyst plays a key role in driving cross-functional initiatives and special projects to support the success of the IT department.
  • This role collaborates with teams across the organization to execute initiatives, standardize processes, and improve efficiencies, while supporting the development of project and portfolio best practices.
  • Focusing on the corporate technologies within the HR and Legal spaces, the Business Analyst combines an entrepreneurial, adaptable mindset with strong cross-functional collaboration to navigate ambiguous work, deliver results, and enhance overall IT planning and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery, servicing, and ongoing support of Legal and HR technology solutions, ensuring projects, enhancements, and upgrades are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams to define scope, timelines, and deliverables for projects and initiatives as they arise.
  • Develop and execute test scripts, plans, and scenarios to support system enhancements, upgrades, and project implementations.
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships with IT, business stakeholders, and vendor partners to identify opportunities for technology optimization and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a business analyst or similar role supporting large-scale enterprise platforms.
  • Expertise with common Legal software platforms such as DMS, CLM, and Entity Management.
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment, including writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience leading project teams and coordinating multiple initiatives in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communications skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience managing budgets and tracking costs for projects and vendor services.
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow or similar platforms for issue tracking, project management, and workflow automation.
  • Strong vendor management experience, including contract oversight, service level monitoring, and coordination of external service providers.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with consistent attention to detail and follow-through.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.

Compensation

  • Salary type: Exempt
  • Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
  • Annual Base Salary Range: $85,000- $115,000
  • Annual Bonus: 15%
