About the role

The Clinical Supervisor for Crisis supervises the crisis team at their site.
This individual supervises the Mental Health Therapists in all phases of the therapists' work, provides direct services to clients, and conducts groups, intakes, and assessments.
This position provides oversight for voluntary crisis services during swing shift (12pm to 10pm; Wednesday through Saturday)

 Conduct weekly file reviews and implement appropriate corrective actions to ensure files meet Federal, State, County, and Sea Mar requirements.
 Maintain a positive relationship with the BHO and referral agencies.
The position will work with and support Sea Mar employees and patients to help fulfil the organization's mission.

 This position must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and is required to maintain current BLS CPR throughout employment.

 Knowledge and experience working with Latinos, migrant and seasonal farm workers, and homeless individuals, is preferred.
 Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
 Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

 Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
 Ability to speak effectively before clients or employees of an organization.
 Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
 Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
 Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Education and Experience, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, and Medical Screening
 Master's degree in the Social Science or Social Service field.
 Mental Health Professional; certification as minority Mental Health Specialist as prescribed by WAC, is preferred
 Must meet criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP).
Licensed status is preferred (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW).
 At least five (5) years' experience in the field, with some administrative experience.
