Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of the engine testing, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting procedures in accordance with Standard Work, appropriate technical references, Repair Station Manuals, and GE policies and procedures
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including EHS, quality, engineering, planning, and materials to support operational initiatives, achieve strategic business objectives, and support constant improvement site-wide
  • Document all work performed and book time using the site's ERP software

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma / GED with 4-5 years of aircraft engine testing experience
  • FAA Powerplant License or FAA form 8610-2 and ability to obtain Powerplant License before start of SkillBridge
  • Knowledge of borescope inspection
  • Experience with LEAP & GE GenX engines and engine runs
  • Experience as a Test Throttle operator
  • Experience as a Engine Test Site Operator

Compensation

  • Military DoD SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from GE Aerospace, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members.
