- Carpenter Technology Corporation is a leading producer and distributor of premium specialty alloys, including titanium alloys, nickel and cobalt based superalloys, stainless steels, alloy steels and tool steels.
- Carpenter's Latrobe Specialty Metals operations, based in Latrobe, PA., was acquired by Carpenter Technology in 2012 and manufactures high-performance specialty alloys serving aerospace, energy and other demanding markets.
- Under minimal supervision, this role is accountable for the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and integrity of maintenance data, reports, and documentation used for operational decision making, compliance and performance management.
Responsibilities
- Owns the administrative processes that support the maintenance department with accountability for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of maintenance data.
- Owns the distribution of maintenance schedules and work orders, ensuring alignment with approved plans and execution priorities.
- Partners with maintenance department management to validate progress, communicate changes, and ensure systems reflect current operating needs.
- Validates calculated labor, material, and performance metrics before distribution or decision making.
- Owns documentation related to for personnel schedules, maintenance and repair records.
- Maintains maintenance and cost records to support audits, reporting, and long-term reliability initiatives.
- Building on its history of innovation, Carpenter Technology's wrought and powder technology capabilities support a range of next-generation products and manufacturing techniques, including novel magnetic materials and additive manufacturing.
- The Maintenance Coordinator owns the administrative and information management processes that support the Maintenance department.
- Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have a minimum of 4 years Administrative background, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Must be able to work in a production-oriented environment.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, scheduling software, or databases.
- Must have strong problem solving, teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
- Must be an organized person with the ability to work on several activities on a daily basis.
