About the role
- Job Title: Printing Operator (Night Shift) Location: Greenwood, South Carolina, USA Join Lonza's manufacturing team in Greenwood, SC, where you will play a key role in transforming capsules into finished pharmaceutical products.
- Schedule: Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) This is a fully site-based role.
- Desired: - Prior experience or knowledge in print operations.
Responsibilities
- Rotate between printing and finishing areas to support production schedules and business needs.
- Perform finishing and weigh counter activities while maintaining established quality standards.
- Monitor equipment performance and support efficient manufacturing operations.
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, attendance and productivity expectations.
- Complete cleaning activities within print booths and production areas to support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to achieve production goals and continuous improvement objectives.
- Opportunities to develop manufacturing and technical production skills.
Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to successfully complete and score 100 or below on the required Color Test.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Flexibility to work a 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM night shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
Nice to have
- Experience working in a manufacturing, production, printing, or operations environment is preferred.
