About the role
- We are seeking a visionary Senior Cloud Systems Architect to provide technical leadership for a large-scale cloud migration initiative.
- You will work closely with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to devise secure, high-performing, and cost-effective cloud solutions that align with corporate objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the assessment of existing systems and develop comprehensive roadmaps and migration strategies.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to guide the migration of complex business applications, including Oracle technologies such as PeopleSoft, Exadata, Autonomous Database, and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
- Maintain comprehensive architectural and process documentation, and communicate complex technical information effectively to leadership and stakeholders.
- Our highly certified experts build systems that drive efficiency, accelerate modernization, and ensure mission outcomes with certainty.
- In this role, you will be responsible for developing the overall architectural strategy and guiding the successful migration of on-premises workloads and applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps methodologies, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Nice to have
- Oracle Cloud certification(s) strongly preferred (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional).
