About the role
- Curri is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team.
- The role is primarily responsible for supporting month-end close and driving improvements to operational accounting processes as Curri scales.
- The ideal candidate possesses a solid foundation in accounting but is deeply curious, process-oriented, and comfortable driving change in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close activities, including revenue recognition, prepaids, accruals, and management reporting
- Quickly learn existing operational accounting processes and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve and scale them
- Drive forward new ERP software implementation to elevate and scale accounting operations
- Strong operational accounting background with the desire to design interconnected processes and systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- 3-6 years in accounting and finance
- 4+ years in a startup or fast-paced accounting environment
- Advanced Excel skills (you can figure out any formula)
- Experience using AI tools in accounting or finance workflows
- Experience managing inter-company accounting for international subsidiaries, including:
- Experience at a startup
- Ability to write and read SQL and familiarity with BI tools
