About the role
- We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to be our first hire in the US, embedded in our largest and fastest-growing market.
- You will be the technical face of RELEX Fresh to US grocery retailers - combining engineering ability with real customer presence.
Responsibilities
- Engage across the full customer organization: from C-suite to the shop floor. You own relationships at every level, from the executive sponsor setting the mandate to the store staff running your solution day to day
- Write production code: you will build and ship the core solution directly, and collaborate with central engineers to contribute improvements back into the product. Your code runs in live customer environments
- Comfortable using AI in your everyday work and developing AI tool adoption as an organisational strategy
Requirements
- You are accountable until it works, and you know what "works" means in measurable terms
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data stacks
- Flexibility in how and where you work
- You must be authorized to work in the United States.
- You must be based in the US and available for regular domestic travel to customer sites.
