About the role
- MrBeast produces large-scale, high-risk content across domestic and international locations.
- This role ensures the safety and well-being of team members, participants, contractors, and third parties while maintaining regulatory compliance and independent safety oversight.
- This includes direct accountability for OSHA compliance and all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead company-wide safety strategy across production and operational environments
- Create and maintain internal Standard Operating Procedures for challenges, stunts, large gatherings, construction builds, and special events
- Integrate safety planning into set design, challenge development, and production execution
- Work closely with Legal, Human Resources and Facilities to develop emergency response, crisis management and escalation procedures
- Develop and deliver safety training programs and lead safety orientations for employees and contractors
- Conduct incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Develop safety protocols for participants and contestants, including briefings and informed consent processes
- Establish safety requirements and oversight for contractors, vendors, and third-party partners
- Maintain safety documentation, certification tracking, and regulatory records
- Define safety KPIs and deliver executive-level visibility into enterprise risk exposure
