About the role
- As a part-time Library Assistant for our Fountain Hills Library, you will provide routine customer service, service routing, and clerical work for the library.

Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment background and/or fingerprint investigation as required by statute or policy, including drug and alcohol testing requirements for positions designated as safety-sensitive
- Ability to cover shifts at nearby library branches
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds floor-to-waist
Compensation
- This position is part-time at 19.50 hours per week and is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

- Two years of customer service experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Post-secondary education may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis
- Experience with library-related automation systems, such as Polaris ILS
- Experience with information retrieval from library-related databases
