- Read and interpret technical orders, manufacturers' manuals, maintenance bulletins, blueprints, schematic drawings and other technical information.
Responsibilities
- Under direction of supervisor, working lead and/or dock chiefs follow specified written work instructions, assembly drawings and/or blueprints to disassemble, inspect, repair, test, and assemble Pratt & Whitney military aircraft engines.
- Utilize safety practices and procedures. Comply with established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Communicate all difficulties to dock chiefs, working lead and/or supervisor, as applicable.
Requirements
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

- Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
- This will be 1st shift hours 06:00am - 02:30pm (must be able to work as needed 2nd shift hours 02:00pm - 10:30pm).
- Utilize standard and precision measuring instruments and gages to check and calculate dimensions, as required by instructions.
- Utilize technical data to determine the required tools, support equipment and parts needed to perform assigned tasks.
Nice to have
- Hoist and forklift operation experience is a plus.
- Familiar with test cell and flight line maintenance operations is a plus.
- Engine blade blend is a plus
- Borescope experience, familiarity with flight line maintenance operations, knowledge of non- powered Aerospace Ground Equipment and a confirmed ability to use and interpret electronic technical manuals is preferred.
- Depot-Level (D-Level) or Intermediate level (I-level) maintenance experience is a plus
Compensation
- The salary range for this role is $41.13 to $46.86.
- Annual Rate Progression Increase (ARP) of.25 every 12 weeks **(hourly rate of pay increases.25 every 12 weeks!)**
- Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
- Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
