Responsibilities

  • Lead Program Financial Analyst
  • As a Lead Program Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in driving the financial success of our defense programs.
  • You will partner closely with Program Managers to deliver accurate forecasts, ensure compliance with government financial requirements, and provide actionable insights that enhance profitability and performance.
  • You'll have the opportunity to work across multiple complex programs, influence business decisions, and support leadership-level financial reviews.
  • Lead the preparation of quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Estimate to Complete (ETC) forecasts for assigned programs.
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts for unbilled receivables and deferred revenue balances, ensuring proper revenue recognition.
  • Support ad hoc analyses, including stop work notifications, contract terminations, or cost impact studies.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience as a Program Financial Analyst in the defense or aerospace industry.
  • Strong understanding of government financial regulations and compliance (FAR, DFARS, EVMS).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven ability to develop forecasts, manage large data sets, and perform detailed variance and cost analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems such as Deltek Costpoint, SAP, or equivalent.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and the confidence to present data-driven recommendations to leadership.

Compensation

  • $ 94,700.00 - $126,300.00 per year plus bonus
  • Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in California.
