About the role
- Tayco is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate leader to oversee our extraordinary Logistics team at our Production Facility in Etobicoke.

- The Logistics Manager is responsible for the strategic direction and leadership for the Logistics department in pursuance of business goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the logistics team for each shift to ensure the teams have collectively achieved and met customer shipping expectations.
- Ensure compliance with custom regulations and NAFTA Agreement (US MCA) Onboarding new freight partners and negotiating existing as well as new contracts and programs associated with them.
- Maintain and control shipping supplies and labels.
- Instruct workers in safety, including the use of personal protective equipment, maintain proper housekeeping, recognize unsafe work conditions; Enforce company and safety rules, document violations and propose necessary disciplinary actions; Conduct safety talks, staff meetings and department meetings.
- Proactively manage poor performance in accordance with Tayco policies and the Collective Agreement and HR policies.
