About the role

  • The Democratic National Committee is seeking a Video Producer-a nimble, creative storyteller who can produce compelling video content across multiple formats and platforms.
  • The Video Producer will play a key role in telling the story of the Democratic Party and its values in fresh, impactful ways.

Responsibilities

  • Vertical & Social Video Creation Create multiple high-performing vertical videos weekly for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Collaborate with producers and comms leads to ensure videos meet messaging and platform goals.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere and After Effects, or a comparable video editing program.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and video trends, particularly TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Experience covering events and working in fast-paced, ever-changing environments.

Nice to have

  • Proven experience in studio production, including control room operation, is nice to have.

Compensation

  • The starting salary for the Video Producer position is $65,000.00, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • This is a full-time, exempt position that may require work on weekends, and has an end date of November 15, 2026.
  • This position is in the bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local-500.
  • Due to federal campaign finance rules, only U.S. citizens or U.S. green card holders are eligible for this role.
