About the role
- CarGurus' Dealer Competitive Intelligence team is seeking a Software Engineer II (Frontend) to drive the next generation of analytics, data products, and dealer-facing experiences.
- This role offers a wide array of opportunities to build a new dealer-facing product from the ground up.
- To succeed in this role, you must be able to learn and adapt quickly while collaborating effectively with a cross-functional team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy clean, well-tested and efficient code, ensuring high standards of architecture, quality and performance
- Provide support and improvements to core systems while maintaining high standards for internal stakeholder teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts and product managers, to guide projects from concept through technical design, implementation, quality testing, and performance measurement
- Practical knowledge of distributed systems and microservice architecture design
Requirements

- Proficiency in React and Javascript fundamentals
- A strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis
Nice to have
- Proficiency in AWS / AWS Certification preferred
- Proficiency in Java, SQL is a plus
Compensation
- The displayed range represents the expected annual base salary / On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this position. On-Target Earnings (OTE) is inclusive of base salary and on-target commission earnings, which applies exclusively to sales roles.
