Responsibilities
- Provide on-the-ground support to teachers, helping transform classrooms by implementing best practices, ensuring they are engaging, safe, and nurturing environments.
- Implement and support Little Sprouts' curriculum, offering flexibility and adapting plans to meet the needs of children at different developmental stages.
- Demonstrate and encourage empathy, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence in children through hands-on support and age-appropriate activities.
- Maintain staff files and students' files (paper & ProCare)
- Lead staff meetings
Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 90% of the day).
- Must pass required state and company background checks.
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle for travel between schools.
- Ability to easily adapt to changing schedules (day to day and week to week) and weather conditions, ensuring flexibility in meeting the needs of the schools.
- Pay increase opportunities related to job performance, update in certification credentials, and degree completion.
Nice to have
- Program Director Step 2 certificate or willingness to take classes towards that level
- Vermont Early Educator License is preferred.

- This position will report into the Director of Operations.
