- Position Overview Fence Masters is looking for a driven professional to join our team on the Commercial Sales & Estimating side.
Responsibilities
- Develop and present estimates for commercial fencing projects based on plans, drawings, and site visits
- Perform quantity takeoffs and material calculations from construction documents
- Travel locally to job sites to assess scope, walk projects, and build client relationships
- Collaborate with project managers and installation crews to ensure accurate and competitive bids
- Maintain organized records of bids, proposals, and client communications using Excel and related tools
- Ability to read and interpret commercial construction plans and perform material takeoffs
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive locally throughout the Chicago area
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; AutoCAD experience preferred
Nice to have
- fencing or fence industry sales strongly preferred
- AutoCAD experience preferred
- Previous sales experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
Compensation
- $60,000+ base annually, plus commission (negotiable based on experience)
