Responsibilities
- It's important that you develop an expertise in the business, you dive into legal agreements and the interpretation of contractual terms, and can apply this knowledge to analyze, see trends and explain the data
- Music is everything! You're passionate about our artists, driven to provide first class customer service to both internal and external partners, and are known for your responsiveness and going the extra mile
- You inspire, support, share ideas, and learn from those around you
- Compile and review transactional data to support statement reporting
- Interpret, and summarize artist and label contracts, create related statements and financial schedules, provide contractual and financial data for deal models and analysis

Requirements
- $22.00 to $25.64 HourlySalary ranges are included for job postings where required by law.
Skills
- Follow department financial controls and policies, communicate deficiencies and gaps to management
- Communicate status & escalate issues as appropriate to your manager
- Represent and contribute to the culture of the Participations group
- BA/BS degree required, preferably in accounting or finance related fields
- 0-2 years of experience working in a related capacity
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, working with large data sets and complex calculations
- Possess strong problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective interpersonal skills, able to work cross-functionally and communicate with internal & external stakeholders
- Ability to understand complex information quickly, breakdown and communicate to others
- We'd love it if you also had:
- Entertainment, Media, or Music Industry experience working in Participations/Royalties or similar role
- Financial statement preparation background
Compensation
- The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs.
- The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
