- Muth Electric is looking for an Experience Electrical QA/QC Superintendent in Rapid City, Sd, upholding and enhancing the standards of our products and services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive project-specific QA/QC plans in accordance with Muth Electric standards.
- Support commissioning and turnover documentation.
- Work closely with procurement teams to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Requirements
- Document inspections, testing results, and corrective actions as required.
Nice to have
- 5+ years of electrical construction experience, including supervisory roles.
- Experience with commercial, industrial, or utility-scale electrical installations preferred.
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) is a preferred.
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certifed Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) is a preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient with construction documentation and project management software.
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Extended hours, nights, or weekends may be required to meet project schedules.

- Qualifications Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent field experience will be considered.
- Proven experience with QA/QC processes, testing, and inspections in electrical projects.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and relevant industry standards.
