About the role

  • To load, unload, and transport cargo to and from customer locations and airport.
  • Neatly complete bill of ladings and MAWB's (Master Airway Bill) for airlines in order to tender freight.

Responsibilities

  • The team is available around-the-clock 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to deliver on your most challenging logistics needs.
  • The driver will safely and efficiently drive a commercial truck for extended hours to pick up and deliver freight.
  • Maintain telephone contact with dispatcher to receive instructions.
  • Maintain driver logbook and daily vehicle inspection report according to I.C.C regulations.

Requirements

  • 3 years commercial driving experience
  • Ability to operate handheld computer / cellular telephone.
  • Must have basic knowledge of computers and email.
  • The ability to operate handheld device used to communicate shipment information

Nice to have

  • Must be able to operate a truck with a capacity of 26,000 plus pounds gross vehicle weight.

Compensation

  • $27.00 per hour, we consider a variety of factors in determining base compensation including but not limited to experience, education, certifications, internal equity, market data and geography.
