About the role
- SUPPLY CHAIN Rocket Lab's Supply Chain team is responsible for the flow of all materials, products, and components through the business.
- They are the chain that links our teams together and are critical to our success.
- They are expected to identify and pursue opportunities for continuous improvement while supporting a best-in-class Supply Chain team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI-driven tools and systems to support supply chain operations, including intelligent agents and bots that act as "wingmen" for supply chain professionals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration, automation, and process optimization across the supply chain.
- Proactively assess and develop opportunities for efficiencies and automation, including the use of AI to reduce manual tasks.
- Provide training and support to the broader team on new AI tools, reports, and processes.
Requirements
- 2+ years' experience within a supply chain environment and a bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience (HS Diploma and 6+ years of total work experience).
- Experience with at least one of the following: SQL, R, Python, or Power BI.
- Proficient using Microsoft Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
- Exposure to ERP systems.

- A passion for leveraging AI and technology to solve complex problems and improve operational efficiency.
- Proficient in MRP systems.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience conducting wide-ranging research and applying findings to real-world applications.
- Clear, concise, and confident interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Team-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently.
- This position may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, computer work, and occasional exposure to moderate levels of noise, dust, and fumes in production areas.
Skills
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of procedures and documentation for AI-enabled tools and systems.
- Identify and propose cost reduction opportunities across various products and services, leveraging AI to uncover hidden efficiencies.
Compensation
- Range (CA Only)
- $75,000 - $95,000 USD
