Responsibilities

  • Actively leads and/or participates in modernizing Patient Access Operations.
  • Develops and maintains an effective, visible, and well-respected leadership team by selecting, evaluating, coaching, and managing the performance of qualified professionals.
  • Collaborates with clinical and administrative leaders on projects that impact revenue cycle processes and related workflows.
  • Inspires and sustains team unity and engagement by developing, motivating, and guiding the team to achieve results together through productive relationships and collaborative work.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and/or participates in special projects in order to support the mission of VCUHS.

Nice to have

  • Business Administration Finance, Accounting, or closely related field.
  • Epic Revenue Cycle application certification preferred
  • 10 years of related leadership experience including 5 years in leadership role with significant business impact

Skills

  • Effective leadership to Revenue Cycle operational areas including managers and their teams.
  • Provides collaborative direction of operations to staff at all access points for practice/clinics.
  • Combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
