About the role
- Strategic Legal Practices is seeking a full-time Attorney Resource Group Assistant.
- As a contributing team member, the ARG specialist is pro-active in balancing multiple assignments.
- They take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of their work product while contributing to the team and maintaining confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Creates, edits, formats, and proofreads legal documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all materials Reviews and edits documents to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state jurisdictional rules and procedures Prepares legal documents for court filing and electronic filing Makes and manages hearing reservations, coordinating with court systems and attorney calendars Edit/proofread documents Promptly responds to attorney requests via written, verbal, or electronic communication Effectively and efficiently manages work and information requests, including document management, scheduling, and coordination of Firm resources Helps attorneys and team members apply new technology to improve efficiency and quality of work product Hands off work with detailed instructions to team members so that the work product is not compromised Smoothly handles multiple demands and shifting priorities across all Firm offices Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

- 1-2 years related experience Prior experience working in a high-volume law firm preferred BA degree preferred
