About the role
- Appointment of this position is a fixed one-year term, eligible for annual renewal.
- The primary work location for this position is at the Belknap Campus.

Responsibilities
- Acquiring and collecting donated and purchased food for the Pantry, completing food drive and routine food pick-ups
- Ensures food is handled properly according to food safety standards and maintains a safe work environment free of known hazards
- Serves as lead staff member, ensuring the Pantry is consistently staffed during business hours
- Provides direction and supports staff, including student workers and volunteers, executing the daily operations of the Pantry
- Performs other duties and completes special projects as assigned
Requirements

Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree and one year working in a professional setting
- Six months of relevant experience in food collection or distribution
- Genuine interest in assisting individuals facing food insecurity
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
- This is a part-time, non-exempt position with a 30-hour regular workweek including occasional evening and weekend hours as required.
- Additional work hours may be required based on department needs, programming, staffing, and/or scheduling.
