About the role

  • We are looking for an experienced Production Technician to join our manufacturing team reporting to the Production Supervisor.
  • You should have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • We are looking for an individual that has a keen eye for detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Your role will be to support the day-to-day operation of the manufacturing area.
  • Utilize routine and non-standard work orders, written and verbal instructions to build and test subassemblies and assemblies.
  • Perform audits to ensure all necessary parts are available and free of defects to perform build and testing.

Requirements

  • Associated Degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of experience with electro-mechanical assembly
  • Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs and work with heavy equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Required to operate in various positions around fixed equipment and machinery, including using lifts, ladders, and scaffolding.

Nice to have

  • Ability to utilize ladders or other high structures to work at heights of ten feet or higher.
  • Previous work around cranes, hoists, and forklifts.
  • Experience with high-temperature, high-power industrial systems (energy, thermal processing, rockets, etc.).
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 certified
  • Experience with 3-axis gantry CNC mill designed for large-part machining
  • Experience with an industrial horizontal CNC abrasive wire saw
  • Proficiency across multiple welding techniques including TIG, MIG, and stick welding, and the ability to read and interpret welding symbols and engineering drawings.
  • Experience maintaining and servicing welding equipment is required.

Compensation

  • Sala ry Basis: Hourly
