About the role
- Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role has broad influence across the site and beyond.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who can move seamlessly between strategy, people leadership, technical problem-solving, and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead Quality Strategy & Develop the Team
- Lead and develop the site Quality organization through coaching, performance management, and capability building
- Lead selected Americas Quality projects and initiatives requiring cross-functional and cross-site influence
- Own Quality Systems & Compliance
- Own and continuously improve the site's Business Excellence System (BES)
- Support compliance with standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 17025, AS9100, RC 14001, and other applicable frameworks
- Maintain the integrity of quality policies, procedures, records, and regulatory documentation
- Drive Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Business, or a related field desired
- 8-10 years of quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years of supervisory or people leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, SPC, root cause analysis, and CAPA methodologies
- Experience with ISO and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Strong understanding of product compliance requirements and the ability to assess risk, conduct reviews, and provide organizational guidance
- Experience with Microsoft Office, MRP systems, and Minitab
Nice to have
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Certified Quality Manager (CQM)
- Experience with standards and frameworks such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 17025, AS9100, or RC 14001
- Approximately 10-25% travel
- Some international travel may be required
- Shape site-level quality strategy while contributing to broader Americas initiatives
Compensation
- The salary range for this position is $103,400.00 - $129,300.00 USD Annual.
