About the role
- This position requires the ability to frequently bend, stoop, lift, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, stand and walk continuously throughout your shift, and climb and work from ladders.
- You may also have the opportunity to supervise lower-level staff.
- Position may work any of the following hours, dependent upon the departmental needs: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, 7:30 to 4:00 pm, 8 am to 4:30 pm, unscheduled work week, early mornings, swing, late evening, and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- As the Custodian 2 for Student Affairs, you will help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of residence halls, apartments, dining facilities, and other campus spaces.
Requirements
- The ability to do required work, the ability to read and write AND six months experience in custodial, general or building maintenance, grounds keeping, or semi-skilled carpentry, electrical and/or plumbing repair work
- Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7.10 and departmental driving standards.

Compensation
- Monthly Salary: $3,327 to $4,406 | Range 36 | Steps A - M | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28
