Responsibilities
- The Business Intelligence Developer (BI Developer) is responsible for the design and development of Business Intelligence applications that meet the strategic information needs of the organization.
- The BI Developer also works closely with operational areas to implement reporting applications that support new or modified business processes.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
- Must have at least three years of experience in SQL coding for relational databases such as DB2, SQL Server, or Netezza.
- Must have working knowledge in business intelligence and analytics platforms such as WebFOCUS or Tableau.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel.
- Must have excellent oral and written communications skills, and demonstrated ability in business writing.
- Must be able to be on-call for after-business-hours support as needed
Nice to have
- Prior experience in creating dashboards and interactive reporting applications is highly preferred.
- Prior experience in data analytics is highly preferred.
- Exposure to Object Oriented programming techniques, HTML 5 or JavaScript is preferred.
