As the unit sharpens its operational offer for fragile, conflict, and violence-affected (FCV) countries, there is growing recognition that

standard DRM, urban, and land interventions often need to be adapted to account for weakened institutions, constrained implementation capacity, political fragility, displacement dynamics, and the particular vulnerabilities of conflict-affected populations.
While the Urban, Resilience and Land portfolio includes a substantial number of operations in FCV settings, the evidence base underpinning what works, and how interventions need to be designed differently in these contexts, is dispersed across project documents.
Consolidating this evidence into a structured resource would allow the global team to respond more effectively to requests from task teams seeking examples of similar activities and solutions from comparable contexts.
