Responsibilities

  • Manage the performance of visible and impactful housing prog rams, including the primary responsibility of stewarding multiple contracts totaling millions of dollars, which require significant oversight of fund disbursement, contract management and performance evaluation and reporting.
  • Supervise staff who are supporting several programs and initiatives and manage staff performance through goal setting, ongoing assessment, reporting and communication.
  • Design, develop and lead new initiatives on affordable housing production, preservation and sustainability, including expanding initiatives in new geographies in the multi-state region and support fundraising efforts to resource new opportunities.
  • Lead capacity building, technical assistance, trainings and develop toolkits to strengthen the capacity of the sector - primarily affordable housing developers, community-based organizations, and private and public sector partners.
  • Build the capacity of public agencies through training and technical assistance to improve alignment of capital and services across various programs and platforms to accelerate production and preservation of affordable housing.
  • Lead policy and advocacy strategies across the PNW in Oregon and Washington to accelerate production and preservation of affordable housing, including managing policy and program consultant contract(s) and partner ing with the National Director of State and Local policy.
  • Partner with Enterprise's Policy & Development Research team to align research opportunities.
  • Coordinate relationships with top Enterprise public, private and community development partners.
  • Help create effective internal office systems and assist with office operations and guiding administrative support. Support analyzing and improving organizational processes, and work to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency
  • We support community development organizations on the ground, aggregate and invest capital for impact, advance housing policy at every level of government, and build and manage communities ourselves.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in the field of housing and community development.
  • Familiarity with the federal, state and local policy landscapes related to housing.
