About the role

  • You will help individuals achieve their personal goals while ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Support individuals in achieving their individualized goals.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment.
  • As a Group Home Provider, you will provide direct care and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential group home setting.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Required:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Preferred:

Nice to have

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Medication Administration Certification
  • Experience providing personal care
  • 4 days on / 3 days off
  • Overtime opportunities may be available

  • Position Summary
  • Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal care, hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Administer medications according to state regulations and company policies (training provided if needed).
  • Transport clients to appointments, community activities, shopping, and recreational outings.
  • Complete daily documentation and progress notes accurately and on time.
