May develop and support university-wide student-concern policies, processes, and implementation. May convene meetings on pertinent topics and represent the needs, trends, and overall service operations with stakeholders.

Knowledge and experience typically acquired by:
participation in case rounds with other team members, general team and staff meetings, and other meetings as required

Demonstrated familiarity and skill in prescribing psychiatric medications for young adults, preferably in a university setting
Commitment and competence to providing relevant and effective services for communities of color
students having non-binary, transgender, and related identities
students on the autism spectrum
clients struggling with eating disorders, alcohol, and other drug issues
and first-generation student issues

Minimum $118,800.00, Midpoint $148,500.00, Maximum $178,200.00

Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.

Master's Degree Knowledge and skills as typically acquired through completion of a master's degree in psychiatric nursing and certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner
Additionally, plays an active role in outreach to the Tufts University community and acts as mental health consultants to students, faculty, and staff.
Provides a full range of psychiatric services to students, including patient education and consultation, evaluation and treatment, and crisis management
may participate in mandated assessments related to safety issues, medical leave, re-entry, and medical/mental health accommodations.
Responsible for clinical and administrative support services including: utilization of electronic medical record systems for scheduling and documentation
Participates in community outreach/liaison activities and programs, the specifics of which will be defined by the site supervisor or Medical Director.
Participates in relevant meetings on campus where mental health is an issue.
