About the role
- Responsible of system validation, including FEA and corrective actions to ensure system performance.
- Interface with engineering service providers
- Creative to bring novel and efficient engineering solution for manufacturing efficiency
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design orientation of the engineering system with a multidisciplinary team
- Develop automated method and design guidelines to support the designer team in their execution of production projects
- Responsible to deliver system deliverables on cost and on time
- Lead strong collaboration with sourcing, production, after-sale
- Understanding of product development process with focus on requirements, design and validation of mechanical solution for sheet metal components
- Leadership and drive with high desire of collaboration
Requirements
- Professional proficiency in the French language is required and essential for all employees based in Montreal.
- Since professional proficiency in the English language is important, it allows collaboration with employees from the group based in the United States or elsewhere in the world.
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
