At Corteva Agriscience, you will help us grow what's next.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our company at our Johnston, Iowa research facility.
Duties involve operating a tug cart with training and prepping, sorting, moving, and discarding plants.

Create activity plans in internal software and determine floor support needs for plant movement.
Collaborate with process teams and project managers to support successful experiment outcomes.
Follow and maintain internal process protocols for plant movement.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety/ergonomics protocols are essential.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and the ability to build competency in external and internal research software as needed.
Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs.
Must be able to work repetitive tasks in a warm, humid greenhouse environment with pollen present year-round.
What You'll Need:
Associate's degree or 2-year degree required. Bachelor's degree in agriculture, horticulture, plant physiology, molecular biology, entomology, or plant pathology preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills, high self-motivation, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Ability to take initiative and maintain a thoughtful approach in a dynamic work environment.
Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs. Must be able to work repetitive tasks in a warm, humid greenhouse environment with pollen present year-round.
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasionally, non-regular weekend or holiday work may be required.
