About the role
- This is a rare opportunity to have a front row seat and high-level impact on each new vehicle product from two to four-wheeled.
Responsibilities
- Develop the manufacturing strategy, process plans, capacity models, and budget.
- Break down the plans into actionable tasks and manage the tactical execution.
- Collaborate with the engineering and supply chain teams to design the product for manufacturing, reliability, and cost improvement.
- Lead specification, design, and procurement of manufacturing lines, and special process equipment as well as data systems set-up
- Implement local pilot lines and manufacturing process capabilities for A & B Sample product builds. Validate tooling and process to develop larger-scale systems.
- Interface with cutting-edge AI / industrial automation partners to place ALSO on the leading edge of lowering manufacturing costs, increasing high mix/low volume production capability.
- Decades of hands-on experience developing new product and process technologies from a start-up environment through to volume manufacturing
- Lead specification, design, and procurement of manufacturing lines, and special process equipment as well as data systems set-up; working closely with product engineering and contract manufacturers.

- Develop the centralized Mfg Eng team org chart, create the required job functions, recruit and grow the team's skills.
Compensation
- The salary for this position ranges from $240,000 to $310,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
