Responsibilities
- Design and perform genetic, proteomic, transcriptomic, imaging, biochemical and/or physiological experiments to elucidate factors critical for important insect traits (digestion, feeding, development, reproduction, DNA repair, etc..) based on candidate expertise and interest.
- Train/supervise research support staff.
Requirements
- Other duties as required.
Nice to have
- Research experience/training in molecular biology techniques
- Preferred experience in insect physiology/biochemistry/genetics.
- Required Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:
- able to analyze data and write reports
- and detailed oriented.
