Unlike large-scale automated manufacturing environments, this position involves significant manual assembly, process experimentation, and problem-solving.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, follows detailed procedures, and is excited about contributing to the growth of a rapidly evolving battery technology company.

Perform battery cell assembly processes including electrode preparation, stacking, winding, tabbing, sealing, electrolyte filling, and formation activities.
Support engineers with prototype builds, process development activities, and manufacturing trials.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces, including dry room and controlled-environment areas.

High school diploma or GED required.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools and precision equipment.
Takes ownership of responsibilities and delivers work with a high degree of precision and quality.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, laboratory operations, battery manufacturing, electronics assembly, semiconductor manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, or a related technical environment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with production records, spreadsheets, or data entry systems.

Experience assembling lithium-ion batteries, battery cells, fuel cells, or other energy storage products.
Familiarity with dry room, cleanroom, or controlled manufacturing environments.
Ability to read engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and technical documentation.
Degree or technical certification in manufacturing technology, engineering technology, electronics, chemistry, or a related field.
Experience participating in process improvement or manufacturing scale-up efforts.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to wear required PPE and work in dry room or controlled-environment conditions.
Work directly with engineers and scientists to bring innovative products to market.
