Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the asset team to achieve daily production, safety, quality, reliability, and site performance targets.
  • Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting support by maintaining advanced process, mechanical, and operational expertise to address equipment and process upsets.
  • Manage daily asset operations including start-ups, shutdowns, grade changes, CIP, sanitization activities, and other operational reliability initiatives.
  • Drive asset performance and continuous improvement efforts through TPM, preventive maintenance, autonomous maintenance, OPEX initiatives, problem solving, and TIP activities.
  • Lead shift communication processes including Tier 1 meetings, KPI updates, shift handoffs, production reporting, escalation management, and performance documentation.
  • Coach, train, and develop team members by supporting new hire onboarding, identifying training needs, providing on-shift coaching, and reinforcing operational standards.
  • Utilize and maintain operational systems and documentation such as SAP, ETQ, POKA, SMOM, process orders, centerline settings, and asset performance records.
  • Perform and support equipment maintenance activities, including basic repairs, process adjustments, troubleshooting, reliability improvements, and escalation of complex issues when needed.
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Leadership.
  • Ability to maintain a work schedule of 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.

Requirements

  • Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • 1+ years of continuous work experience.
  • Successfully passing a hands-on mechanical assessment and skill knowledge evaluation is required to be considered for this role.
  • Must be able to wear the required PPE while performing tasks.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds twice each hour.

Nice to have

  • Prefer 1+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience or 2+ years of maintenance classes from a Technical Institute.
  • Experience working in an FDA regulated facility.
  • Experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment.

  • This position is eligible for the starting wage listed above, overtime pay and available pay increases within your first year.
