This role ensures rigorous engineering principles are applied to solve unmet user needs and contributes directly to critical development activities.

Recruit, mentor, and develop a high performing mechanical engineering team.
Provide functional mechanical engineering support across active product development programs.
Collaborate with project heads and program managers to define requirements, scope of work, and mitigate technical risks.
Drive the application of sound engineering fundamentals (e.g., design controls, design for manufacturability, tolerance analysis, material selection, test method development).
Ensure adherence to applicable quality management system (QMS) requirements, including design controls, risk management, and documentation standards.
Support and/or lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and continuous improvement initiatives.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, additive manufacturing, and assembly.
Proven ability to apply structured problem solving techniques and sound engineering judgment.
Experience operating within a regulated environment and following a formal QMS.
Occasional Travel (up to 10%) may be required

A reasonable estimate of the annual base salary for this position is $130,000 - $155,000 plus discretionary annual bonus.
Pay ranges may vary by location and are awarded based on experience.
