About the role
- This will be an on-site position, requiring you to be onsite five days per week in Santa Monica, CA.
- Naughty Dog recently released The Last of Us Part II Remastered as well as a current generation remake of The Last of Us Part I for the PS5.
Responsibilities
- Identify, log, and maintain gameplay issues.
- Create and execute test plans.
- Provide quality assurance and development support for our playtests.
- Ability to balance bug investigation and documentation with playtest support responsibilities

Requirements
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for this position.
- For nearly 40 years, Naughty Dog has been crafting best-selling, critically acclaimed games that constantly push the boundaries of narrative, gameplay, and technology.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- A passion for gaming and an interest in game quality, user research, and player experience
- Demonstrable skill set beyond just bug investigation and documentation.
- Willingness to share opinions and feedback with other departments.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Working knowledge of PS5 systems.
- Prior user research or playtest, moderation/support experience.
- Formal post-high school education (college, technical school, etc.).
- Scripting or programming experience.

Compensation
- The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below, this is an hourly rate.
- $17.79 - $22.26 USD
