Responsibilities

  • Paralegal will take ownership of critical legal processes, manage complex legal projects, partner closely with internal stakeholders and outside counsel, and help drive operational excellence across the legal department.
  • Lead and manage all phases of litigation support, including coordinating document preservation, collection, review, production, and discovery responses
  • Manage subpoena responses, regulatory inquiries, and third-party information requests, partnering with business stakeholders and outside counsel as needed
  • Own the legal hold program, including implementation, tracking, monitoring compliance, and maintaining document preservation protocols
  • Maintain and oversee corporate records, minute books, governance documentation, and entity management activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Manage legal department calendaring, including litigation deadlines, regulatory filings, corporate obligations, and key compliance milestones
  • Coordinate and oversee outside counsel engagement and billing processes, including invoice review, budget tracking, accrual support, and legal spend management
  • Partner directly with internal business teams, compliance, finance, operations, and executive leadership on legal and regulatory matters
  • Support compliance initiatives, policy development, regulatory examinations, audits, and internal governance programs
  • Paralegal to support its in-house legal team across a diverse and growing FinTech business.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of paralegal experience, preferably supporting in-house legal departments, financial services organizations, or FinTech companies
  • Strong knowledge of legal documentation, corporate records management, and legal operations best practices
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential matters
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and legal document management systems
  • Experience working with regulated entities, including broker-dealers, futures commission merchants (FCMs), or other financial institutions
  • Familiarity with futures industry regulations, including CFTC and NFA requirements
  • Experience with legal billing, matter management, and contract lifecycle management systems

  • Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred

Compensation

  • The salary range for this role will be $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 USD.
  • In addition, this position will also receive an annual target bonus of 8%.
  • Bonus pay at NinjaTrader is based on individual performance (50%) as well as company/team performance (50%).
  • Salary and bonus earnings are only two components of the total compensation package offered by NinjaTrader.
  • Annual paid time off allowance accrues at a rate of 18 days per year (some positions may qualify for more) plus seven paid holidays.
