About the role

Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage all rehabilitation services (PT, OT, SLP)
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
  • Supervise, mentor, and support therapy staff
  • Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and productivity expectations
  • Manage therapy schedules and caseload distribution
  • Collaborate with facility leadership on census and care planning
  • We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Local or Travel Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead therapy operations within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
  • This is a travel assignment ideal for a therapist with strong leadership experience who thrives in fast-paced environments and can quickly step in to stabilize, optimize, and lead therapy teams.

Requirements

  • Active state license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Minimum 2+ years of SNF experience
  • Strong knowledge of PDPM, Medicare guidelines, and SNF regulations
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new teams, systems, and environments

Nice to have

  • Minimum 1 year of leadership or DOR experience preferred
