About the role

This role encompasses fundamental vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
We're hiring for several roles with a July 2026 start date, and we'll be reviewing applications and scheduling interviews in the coming weeks.
You're an emerging technician who is eager to grow in a busy maintenance environment where you'll face new challenges daily.

Diagnose malfunctions including steering, electrical, cooling, lubricating, braking systems, drive trains, suspensions, power steering units, clutches, oil, temperature, gas regulating components, transmissions, engines, and related assigned duties within qualification level, in accordance with all relevant Federal, State/Provincial and local guidelines and requirements.
Perform test drives during Preventative Maintenance inspections to identify driver reported issues and conduct test drives after service to confirm repairs have been completed successfully.
Perform minor road calls and on-the-road repairs as assigned.
Maintain a safe, clean, productive, and efficient work area including ensuring the work area is in compliance with all relevant Federal, State/Provincial, local guidelines and requirements, and company Housekeeping standards and safety regulations.
Advise Lead Technician of unsafe maintenance conditions or practices and/or vehicle abuse.
We're seeking a motivated Technician III to support maintenance operations at one of our sites.
You'll be an important contributor to our transportation operations, helping maintain fleet reliability and safety for students and communities.

Technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment is required.
Previous fleet experience with familiarity with diesel and gasoline systems.
Ability to use good judgment and decision-making skills.
Work assigned shift as required.
Minimum of one to two years medium/heavy truck Fleet mechanic repair experience.
Diagnostic, Electrical, and AC skills are a must.
Possess the recommended minimum hand tools for a Medium/Heavy Duty and Diesel Technician.

Valid CDL License (Must be able to obtain within the first 90 days of employment).
ASE Certification desirable.
